At Animal Cwtch, we believe conservation starts with connection. When people meet animals up close — seeing their patterns, hearing their stories, and learning about their habitats — they begin to care.

Our projects turn that spark of curiosity into lasting action for nature and wellbeing across South and West Wales.

How to Get Involved

Volunteer with us – Help pack wildflower seeds, prepare enrichment, or support our community Eco Days.

What Our Conservation Work Includes

Wildflower Seed Initiative – Helping pollinators thrive by encouraging families, schools, and community groups to plant bee-friendly patches across South and West Wales.
Field Mouse Re-Population Project (coming soon) – Working with landowners, volunteers, and pupils to reintroduce native field mice into safe, monitored habitats.
Wildfire Awareness & Prevention – Educational talks and demonstrations showing how small everyday actions can protect wildlife and reduce fire risks.
Eco & Community Days – Immersive, hands-on events that mix animal encounters with habitat building, eco-crafts, and sustainability workshops.
Local Hero Projects – Celebrating individuals and groups making a difference for nature — from school gardens to care-home bird-box builds.
Creative Conservation Workshops – Crafting bird feeders, bug houses, and recycled enrichment projects that combine learning, creativity, and fun.
Corporate & School Partnerships – Collaborating with businesses and educators to fund, host, and grow community conservation projects.
